Marianne Hoffard is a writer, librarian, and mom currently living in Victoria, British Columbia with her husband, son, and rambunctious cat.
She holds a Bachelor's of History and a Master's of Library and Information Science, both from the University of British Columbia, and is a graduate of Simon Fraser University's Writer's Studio program.
Marianne has a deep love for history, myth, and weird fiction with a literary bent. She lives with the connective tissue disorder Ehler's Danlos Syndrome, and often exploring illness and disability through a speculative lens in her writing.
Her short fiction and poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in The Missouri Review, PRISM International, Asimov's, and PULP Literature.
